Bangkok, Thailand (May 30, 2024) – The International Amusement and Theme Parks Expo (IAAPA) Asia 2024, held this year at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand, hosted a team of senior executives from Iran’s Kalbodium Amusement Park. Attending this specialized event, these visitors had the opportunity to learn about the latest innovations and trends in the entertainment and tourism attractions industry, and to network with industry leaders.
Dr. Mehdi Jafarnejad, CEO of Kalbodium Tourist and Recreation Complex, stated after visiting the exhibition: “This exhibition offers numerous opportunities for innovation and progress in the entertainment and tourism attractions industry, as well as familiarization with the most up-to-date technologies in this field worldwide.”

The Kalbodium team, actively participating in this event, carefully reviewed the presentations of various companies and obtained innovative ideas for selecting new equipment and developing the Kalbodium theme park.
After carefully reviewing the presentations, negotiation meetings were held with a number of reputable international companies in the field of amusement park construction, and areas of bilateral cooperation were discussed and examined.
The main goal of these negotiations was to select the best solutions and equipment to improve the quality and diversity of services at the Kalbodium Theme Park using the latest technologies in the entertainment industry.
It is safe to say that visiting the IAAPA Asia 2024 exhibition will be an important step towards realizing the ambitious goals of Kalbodium Theme Park and providing a unique and memorable experience to visitors.
Engineer Mehdi Yekpesar, artistic and creative director of the Kalbodium project, said about the visit: “Our main goal in attending this exhibition was to get acquainted with the latest technologies and innovations in the amusement park industry, review global trends, and find opportunities for cooperation with international companies. We also intended to obtain new ideas for improving and developing Iranian amusement parks by reviewing new products and services.”

Also, by participating in specialized workshops and seminars at this exhibition, new ideas were obtained in the field of service management and improvement that can help improve the performance of the Kalbodium project.
